The following are considered in awarding the grade:


- The harmonious composition of the program and the agreement with the chosen music: this is essentially the general appearance of the program. The horse must work in sync with the music. The choreography must suit the music and the horse.


- Variations in speed or pace, ease in transitions and in sequences of figures.


- The recovery must be spread over the entire surface of the quarry and vary the routes. The main elements must be performed in various places on the track. Once again, the chosen music or theme must influence the choice of plot, direction and location of the main figures.


- The ease of movements and technical accuracy in accordance with the music. Balance, rhythm and timing are all noted.


- The harmony of the rider-horse couple.


- Interpretation of the theme music.


- Originality and innovation.


- The number of elements and their variety, the level of technical difficulty..
